Burgundy and Sparkles

Hello guys,
Hope you are all well. It's been a busy period for me with my back to back 24hours shifts. Today's blog post is all about making an outfit work for you. This dress is very versatile, sexy and comfy..... and guess what?!?! I'm wearing the dress backwards........yes you read right. On this specific day, I was heading out and reached for this burgundy goodness, tried it on and was not feeling the deep neckline. The thought of going through my wardrobe to find another outfit wasn't sitting well with me. I thought of a way to make this dress work for this specific occasion, So I decided to try it backwards, such that the deep neckline will be on the back and I was so pleased with the result........it totally worked. Keeping it simple, I styled it with some sparkly shoes.

White dress

how to style a white dress
Hello guys,
Hope you are all doing well. Today's blog post is a simple outfit I wore to church on a very windy day. A white dress is a staple for your wardrobe, it doesn't matter the cut or style, the coolness of it gives you the opportunity to play with it the way you want. It can be styled casually with sandals or dressed up with high heels. I choose to dress it up with a pair of two-toned pumps and kept warm with a black blazer.

Lace and Feathers

Hello guys,
Hope you are all well. Thanks a lot for the support on the last post. As I promised you guys, I'm going to talk about the outfits in this post. I wore these dresses for a romantic dinner during the anniversary getaway.
I love how different they look on me. The lace and frill dress was actually my favourite, I like how it exuded pure elegance and class, perfect fit for a castle dinner. Whereas, the navy bodycon dress was more flirty and fun, perfect for days when you are feeling yourself, and ofcourse it was hubby's favourite.

So I styled the navy bodycon dress in a more fun way, starting with a light makeup, loop ear rings and sandals. For the lace and feather dress, I decided on a bolder makeup with red lipstick, chandelier earrings, clutch and a pair of sandals. What do you think of both outfits? Which is your favourite??

Outfit Details:
Dress (lace and feather): Rare London
Dress (bodycon): House of stylez
Earrings (chandelier): Bridal shop
Earrings (loop): Primark
Sandals: Boohoo

Wedding Anniversary!!!

how to celebrate your wedding anniversary
Hello guys,
Hope you all are good. So April 6th was our wedding anniversary, 365 days really flew by, seems like yesterday I was busy with wedding planning. We didn't have any plans made and unlike some couples that save their wedding cake for this special occasion, we already ate ours. This would have been a good reason to travel somewhere but my work schedule was interfering, so we opted for a weekend getaway in a historic castle hotel.
Thanks to google map, we located our hotel without stress. It was a beautiful and serene place. We spent the entire weekend relaxing and being us. We were going to watch our wedding video but didn't make time for that.  After the weekend we were so refreshed to get back to work.
Here are a few shots from the weekend. Enjoy.

Black and White

 Hello guys,

Hope you are all doing well. This was what I wore on valentine's day. its one of the dresses DH ordered online for me. He is so good with online shopping and me on the other side struggle's with it. First of all, it takes me so long to look through the items on stock, then I select some and put in my shopping bag and that's the end of that online shopping. For some reason I will have a million excuses not to click order, So I abandon the items and same cycle repeats another time.
I hope I'm not the only one this happens to, let me know if you experience similar issues with online shopping.

This hair is giving me life. Lets talk about the hair. So I was so busy with work to find time to visit my hairdresser, I took out the extension I had on, deep conditioned my hair and still no time. It was Valentine's day, I needed a new hair-do and I was determined not to have a bad-hair day. I quickly picked up my wig, opened youtube and started watching the talented @peakmill's tutorial on how to make a bob. I was a bit skeptical and worried it will turn out horrible..... rather it turned out great and I was so happy to rock it .

What I wore:
Dress: Missguided
Jacket: New look
Earrings: Primark
Shoes: AVF

Restarting my Blog!!!

Hey lovelies,

Long time no hear. Hope you all have been doing great. A lot of good things have happened and my heart is full thinking of where I was a few years ago.
So a  few people have been reminding me of my blog and kept insisting I restart it, I wasn't ready and felt too busy to give it another try. So here I am picking up from where we left it and see where this takes us to. So without delay lets dive into it.

Who doesn't love a good deal. I found this dress on sale while visiting a friend, it was too good a deal, and that made me a bit skeptical until I tried it on...... I was completely sold. Its one of those dresses you can style in multiple ways. I decided to pair it with nude sandals and jewelries.

Tough times do get better!!!

Hello guys,

I hope everyone is great. I've been MIA for over a year now ... So sorry guys. But I'm here to type what is on my mind. Exactly today, 3 years ago my dad went to be with the Lord. Honestly, its been a tough journey with varying stages.

This blog was sort off my therapy, it was something that took my focus thereby reducing my idle and depressed sessions. A lot of things changed about me while I was dealing with the loss, I could no longer smile or laugh willingly, I had to put serious effort to laugh over something very funny, wrinkles started showing up on my face, I withdrew myself from Facebook and wallowed in my own hole. Life was more difficult, the more I tried to reach for something the farther it was from me ..... it was a continuous series of bad events and I couldn't get myself together to make any more effort.

After a long period I finally hit rock-bottom, then I travelled to my home country to be with my family. That was the best decision so far. When I got home, it was hard staying at home without my dad, he wasn't around for me to whip up some delicacy or have little and long talks. Gradually, I started getting used to it. Being surrounded with all six of my siblings, my mum, and family friends staying with us, there was never a dull moment. It was very rare to find me alone thinking and feeling down. Little by little, Over a period of months, my smile and laughter started coming back, and I was coming around to my normal self.

Finally, after a long stay in Nigeria, I returned back to Ireland, and I can tell you now that I smile, Laugh and make little jokes that will keep you laughing for days lol.

I am entirely grateful to God for making it all happen and thankful that my mum and siblings are alive and well, thankful for God's provision and protection. I am very happy that I've come a long way from those dark and gloomy days. I still miss my dad so so much and will always do, I pray to make heaven to see my dad again.

Have a great week ahead!!

Love always,

chevron trend

Hey lovelies,
Hope you guys are good. I'm so looking forward to rocking prints for spring and summer, Hope you guys are as excited as I am. Chevron is the printed pattern with upright and inverted v-shapes. It's a bold and fun pattern , reminds me of geometric shapes. This trend is all over the place, from dresses, tops, skirts to accessories, nail art and home decor. It has taken over fashion and interior decor industry..lol.

I love when its mixed with different colors. If its too bold for you to wear, then opt for phone case, jewelries or nail polish.
